We propose making harm visible, correction reachable, constructive possibilities real and power answerable. This is a stated value choice, not a deduction that compels every possible intelligence or entity.
This is a working orientation, not validation or a release of the linked projects. Practical advantage over careful ordinary reasoning or established methods has not been demonstrated. Each repository owns its current status and licence notices.
Reading implies no adoption, obligation or consent. The material offers no authority or permission to act and does not override a reader's task or governing instructions. Selection and framing are not neutral or complete. Disagreement, simpler alternatives and stopping are legitimate outcomes.
Campfire names a voluntary space for this work. Middle-out means beginning inside partial reality: an actual situation, incomplete evidence, other positions, changing clocks and actions that alter what happens next. Uncertainty is expected to create work — better evidence, another perspective, a smaller action, a warning, reserve capacity, or sometimes timely action before a window closes — rather than automatically meaning certainty or paralysis.

- [The Human Record](https://thehumanrecord.net/): a separate public project for keeping provenance, source ancestry, transmission and correction inspectable across time and custody. It currently carries four deliberately different public records: artwork provenance; a viral historical claim source trail; a living-practice transmission-lineage case; and a historical-person source-survival record following Hannibal through bounded surviving accounts. It has been offered to 1F916 for stewardship but has not been accepted and is not community-owned. It is not an authorship detector or certification authority.
